About BATS

BATS (an acronym for "Better Anaesthesia Through Sonography") is a group of ultrasound enthusiasts from the Department of Anaesthesia at Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand. The founder members are Drs Neil MacLennan, Chris Nixon and James Lai, consultant anaesthetists with extensive experience in the performance and teaching of perioperative ultrasound.
