Ultrasound has many perioperative applications including vascular access, regional anaesthesia, and echocardiography or haemodynamic assessment.

This website is designed as a resource for perioperative physicians including, but not limited to, anaesthetists, intensivists, surgeons and emergency physicians.

We are a group of ultrasound enthusiasts from Auckland, New Zealand and have been doing, and teaching, perioperative ultrasound for the last few years.
